Pixop supports two billing models:
- Direct Pixop billing, where your team is billed directly by Pixop.
- AWS Marketplace billing, where usage is metered through the AWS Marketplace subscription linked to your Pixop team.
The billing model determines how processing, storage, downloads, payments, and discounts are handled.

Setting up billing
After signing up, you have up to 14 days to set up billing for your team.
Until billing has been set up, you cannot upload, process, or download videos.
How you activate billing depends on your billing model:
Direct Pixop billing
Add valid payment information to your Pixop team.
Once billing is set up, you can upload and download videos and purchase processing credits to process videos and clips.
See Direct Pixop billing for details.
AWS Marketplace billing
Link an active AWS Marketplace subscription to your Pixop team.
AWS Marketplace-billed teams do not purchase processing credits in Pixop. Eligible processing, storage, and download usage is instead metered in Pixop Credits and billed through AWS Marketplace.
Teams linked to AWS Marketplace are automatically set up as Enterprise teams and have access to the Pixop REST API.
See AWS Marketplace billing guide for details.
If billing is not set up
If billing is not set up within 14 days after signing up, the account and related account data are automatically deleted.
